When the Geek's RV's sink first began getting dingy and stained, they tried whitening it with bleach, which they had heard was very effective. Bleach is just so smelly and toxic that they decided to stop using it.
Then a friend of theirs (and fellow RVer) began waxing poetic about the wonders of Oxiclean. The RV Geeks had originally been turned off by the in-your-face advertising for the product by pitchman Billy Mays, so had never tried it before. does it work on fiberglass sinks?

ReplyDeleteWe've never had a fiberglass sink, but we regularly use Oxiclean to clean our fiberglass shower. Can't imagine that it would harm your sink, but maybe someone else here could comment more knowledgeably who's tried leaving it soaking in their sink.
ReplyDeletebeen using it occasionally and also Awesome Cleaner. I don't like to use bleach in the rv...We used to only be able to get Awesome in Quartzsite but now Walmart is carrying it! Thankfully!
